Polar bears are white because the pressure at the poles is low, so they have to be able to absorb heat.

Oh my god! I saw this exact same riddle the other day on Polls %26amp; Surveys but at the end it said,"if you repost this somewhere, you'll get an e-mail that tells you the answer" I reposted it on Myspace and it's been circling the web ever since.
